The first quarter of 2022 saw a variety of trends among the top space games on Android in Nigeria. Here’s a closer look at how these games performed in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

N.O.V.A. Legacy from Gameloft SE saw fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at around 6.5K at the end of December and experiencing a decline to approximately 3.1K by late January. However, downloads picked up slightly towards the end of February, reaching around 4.9K, and then settled to about 3.7K by the end of March. The game's weekly revenue showed a peak of $23 in early February, with other weeks varying between $1 and $9. Active users also saw a decline from 12.7K at the end of December to 7.8K by the end of March.

Space shooter - Galaxy attack by 1SOFT experienced relatively stable weekly downloads, hovering around 1.7K to 2.2K throughout the quarter. Revenue peaked at $91 in the last week of December and fluctuated between $21 and $75 for the rest of the quarter. The game maintained a strong active user base, starting at 12.8K and gradually increasing to around 14.4K by the end of March.

Galaxy Attack: Shooting Game, also from 1SOFT, showed a slight decline in weekly downloads from 1.5K at the end of December to around 1K by the end of March. Revenue saw a notable peak of $113 in the last week of March, with other weeks ranging from $40 to $86. Active users started at 17.6K at the end of December, peaking at over 20K in early March, and then settling at around 16.3K by the end of the quarter.

Ben 10 - Alien Experience : AR by Cartoon Network EMEA had stable weekly downloads, starting at 2.3K at the end of December, declining slightly to around 1.1K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 3.7K and decreasing to approximately 2K by the end of March.

Finally, LEGO® Star Wars™: TFA from Warner Bros. International Enterprises showed a consistent but low download rate, starting at 1K and stabilizing around 400 by the end of March. Revenue was minimal, peaking at $11 in the last week of December and remaining mostly negligible for the rest of the quarter. Active users remained stable around 1.4K at the end of December and decreased slightly to around 1.3K by the end of March.
